You, your partner (if any or make it a girls night out lol), friends and family are invited to an event we have organised called Miss Nollywood UK 2008, taking place next Saturday September 27th!! It is not just a "beauty competition", but a "Festival of Talent" aimed at providing rare career opportunities for fresh talent in the Nigerian Entertainment Industry some of us know as Nollywood. This is going to be a fun filled red carpet event, packed with various kinds of entertainment. The competition was open to everyone in the UK from all nationality and walks of life, interested in becoming a top Nollywood actress. To be in this pageant isn’t only about being physically beautiful. In order to win this the contestants have to be poised, articulate, intelligent and able to think on their feet (as we would be asking the contestants to act out parts on the spot and the audience would be the judge of who deserves to win it) so the contestants definately have to have a wow factor that will set them apart from others. Come with your ladies an have a swell evening!! Hosts on the night are Segun Arinze and Grace Amah. plus lots more Nollywood celebrities and dignitries in the Nigerian entertainment industry in general will be present.
It is scheduled to start at 5pm and end at midnight and will be taking place at The Regents Banqueting Suite, 331 Regents Park, Finchley, London N3 1DP. For those who don't drive, it is only 2mins from the Finchley Central station!!
